Chevrolet Bolt Concept at 2015 NAIAS

Looks like rumors which started back in 2013 will finally come true. Back then, the media was talking about the upcoming electric vehicle, which will be produced by General Motors and under the Chevrolet badge. Now, seems like 2015 Detroit Auto Show, which will be held between January 12th and 25th will have the pleasure to host the all-new Chevrolet Bolt Concept vehicle.

This new vehicle will be presented as a Concept, while its serial production is not expected before 2017. Some of its specs are already speculated, and seems like the Chevrolet Bolt will have the 200 miles range ( 322 km ), and will be priced at $30,000 approximately. This all-new electric vehicle will be based on Chevy Sonic, and battery pack will be provided by the LG Chem.

According to this news, 2017 year will be the year of hybrid and electric vehicles, since Tesla Model 3 is also scheduled for this model year. One more thing that goes in favor of the GM and Chevrolet Bolt is the fact that these vehicles are in expansion, and the market demand for this type of vehicle is in ascending.
