Audi TT Sportback Concept– World Premiere

During the “Volkswagen Group Night”, which was organized within the framework of 2014 Paris Motor Show, German automobile manufacturer presented its latest Audi TT Sportback.

Presented concept hinted the expansion of Audi’s TT line-up, and showed recognizable design characteristic for the German producer, but also new and revised front bumper and grill. 4-door coupe offers more space and greater design. New Audi TT grow in size, so popular model is now 14,7 feet long,  6,2 feet wide and 4,6 feet high, while its wheelbase is 4,7 inches wider, too. Design highlights include 21-inch aluminum wheels and duel exhaust system.

With change of its dimensions and great seat design, Audi TT now provides enough room for 4 adults, and offers “functionality of a five‑door sedan”.

The biggest attention was paid on to the engine and power of the popular coupe. It will be equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine capable to deliver up to 400 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is a 7-speed S-tronic , and quattro drive system is also featured in the latest version of latest TT. Its acceleration time is 3.9-second (from zero to 60). Combined fuel economy of this Concept is rated in range between 24.8 – 50 mpg, which depends on choices of wheels and tires, Audi reports, but also on some other factors including the driving behavior.
