Audi Q6 e-tron will probably be released as a 2018 model. It will be built on MLB platform. Design of the upcoming SUV will be different, since German brand plans new design for its electric vehicles. Its battery pack should be able to provide 300km (186 miles, approximately) electric range with only one charge. Primary competitors for all-new upcoming fully-electric vehicles from Audi are Tesla models, which will be shaken the most with this info.

Audi Q1 and Q8 are also arriving soon

Beside this exclusive news about Audi Q6 e-tron SUV, Hackenberg confirmed that Audi Q1 SUV will be released during next year, and that it will be built on MQB platform. The Q1 will be similar to Audi’s A3 model, in its size. Front wheel drive will be standard configuration, while Quattro all-wheel drive will be offered as optional.

Yet another SUV could be expected during the next three years – it is the Audi Q8. It will be (approximately) 196 inches long, also built on a MLB platform, with both V6 and V8 engine options.
