2017 Volvo S60 Exterior and Interior

The 2017 Volvo S60 will be identified rather more off-road in appearance than its predecessors. Most prominent of the changes to the body will the LED headlights, angled downwards at the front to look like eyes. They will straddle the all-new wider grille with minimalist design. The fender has also been altered, together with the hood, making the front easily distinguishable from the2016 model. It will reportedly have 18- or 19-inch wide-profile tires that will increase ride height by an inch.

Volvo has upped the ante with the interior as well. Pride of place in the center of the middle console will go to the 9.3 inch video display screen. A 7-inch color display to control the standard infotainment system by Sensus will feature alongside so you can control the eight speakers of the entertainment system easily. The steering wheel has been spruced up with new control features. Bluetooth connectivity and climate control comes as standard.

2017 Volvo S60 Engine

The 2017 Volvo S60 will be no slouch in the performance department either. Its 2.5 liter, 5-cylinder turbocharged engine will produce up to 266 lb-ft of torque at 250hp to take full advantage of the 6-speed automatic transmission. It remains to be seen whether Volvo delivers of the rumored 8-speed automatic transmission version with a 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged T5 Drive-E engine. Whereas most version of the 2017 Volvo S60 will have front wheel drive, the ‘Polestar’ edition will feature all-wheel drive. This will also be a 6-speed transmission but featuring a larger 3.0-liter engine capable of producing 370 lb-ft of torque at 350 hp to give that extra juice to all four wheels.
