Announced at the Geneva Motor Show this year, the 2017 Honda Jazz features a redesign and many upgraded features. Dramatic lines and redesigned headlights and grill give the 2017 Honda Jazz a new look that will turn heads. With a redesigned engine and a boat load of upgraded features, it has captured the attention of both motoring enthusiast and regular drivers as well. A sporty look and efficient engine and transmission are the main goals of this redesign with the new model.

Honda offers three engine options for the Jazz in 2017. A 1.3L four-cylinder engine with a five speed manual transmission and has 101 horsepower. The other traditional engine is a 1.5L with a 6 speed manual transmission. The final option is a 1.5L hybrid engine with a 7 speed Duel-Clutch automatic transmission with 130 horsepower. It is expected that all three engines will perform smoothly within the speed limits and with enough power to get up and go but be very efficient at the same time. Models with the Duel-Clutch automatic transmission system can expect to get 33mpg city and 42mpg highway while the standard 6 speed manual transmissions expect to get 29 mpg city and 37 mpg highway. But these stats are only estimates at this time. As the release date gets closer, more specific details about the engine and transmission will become available.

The eye catching deep creases and lines make the 2017 Honda Jazz more attractive than previous versions. Swept back headlights and the front grill has been updated to give it a sleek look.Inside the cabin, updated to be more stylized and features a large, high tech dashboard. Most of the buttons are replaced with touch screen operations. It will have navigation, automatic air conditioning, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a USB port. Cargo capacity is adequate for a car of this size. Safety features include: Hill-Start Aid, Introduction Stop Signal, VSA, City Active Break and many other features that will be announced at a later time.

2017 Honda Jazz Price and Release Date

With the release date still over a year away, many details of the 2017 Honda Jazz can change but only for more power, control, efficiency and comfort. Additional information will become available as the release date gets closer and design is finalized. It is estimated that the 2017 Honda Jazz will cost start around $17,000 and is expected to be released in February 2017 if not earlier. Peeks of the new Jazz model are currently only available in the Japan marketplace.
