Lincoln will introduce a new model of the MKC with a more powerful engine, better performance and improved fuel efficiency. The vehicle will be offered in three trim levels which will be Premiere, Select and Reserve.

The 2016 Lincoln MKC will feature some changes in its exterior look compared to the current model. According to information from credible sources, the new model will feature new LED taillights, power-folding side mirrors, xenon headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels. The reserve trim level will feature a panoramic sunroof as well as a power lift gate. The 2016 Lincoln MKC will have a curb weight of 3791 lbs and a maximum towing capacity of 3,000 lbs. The vehicle will be offered in an array of colors.

The vehicle will spot a luxurious interior synonymous with all Lincoln automobiles. The cabin will feature wooden detailing. Fans of the 2016 Lincoln MKC will have a choice between two EcoBoost engines. The first is a 2.0 L turbocharged with direct injection. It will be able to produce 240 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque at 3000 rpm. This engine will accelerate from 0-60mph in 7.5 seconds. It has a fuel consumption rating of 20 mpg and 29 mpg for city and highway drives. The second engine will be a 2.3 L engine which is paired with direct injection, turbocharger and Ti-VCT. This pairing enables the engine to produce a maximum of 285 hp and 305 lb-ft of torque. This engine has a fuel consumption of 18 mpg for city and 26 mpg on highway. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed shiftable automatic transmission system and power will be transferred to all wheels.

Official details on its expected release date and price are yet to be released. However, we believe the car will be released in the first quarter of 2016. The price of the 2016 model will be slightly higher than the current model. The base trim level will cost around $ 34,000 while the top trim will attract a price tag of around $49,000.
