2016 Honda Pilot design changes

2016 Honda Pilot was recently spotted on the streets, and even with heavy black camouflage on, changes made on this popular SUV were very noticeable. New Pilot will be built on the same platform as before, the one shared with Acura MDX, but will gain few extra inches. Longer wheelbase and few inches added for the overall length of the 2016 Honda Pilot will make a big difference regarding space for third-row seats. Design changes will be extensive. Its appearance will be a combination of something old and something new, and its style will resemble more to Honda smaller and more modern SUVs, like HR-V and CR-V. Headlight design is “taken” from Honda Accord, and its sleeker look contributed to overall more appealing look of the Pilot. Taillights, however, will remain very similar to the current ones, but with added LED technology. Front fascia and air intakes are also remodeled, in order to achieve full-modernization of the vehicle.

Interior changes are even bigger than the ones made on the exterior. Beside design changes 2016 Honda Pilot will abound in tech features. Transmission will be returned into its previous position, while dash will be redesigned. New gouges, reshaped air vents, and upgraded LCD screen placed in the center of the instrument panel.
