Chevy Captiva is among the most sold Chevrolet SUV models in Europe since it original debut in the auto-market back in 2006. The new 2016 Chevrolet Captiva will not be an exception either. The model was unleashed last year during the Geneva Motor Show where the automakers revealed its updates. The car will adopt both improved designing and new powertrains options. It will however maintain some of the original features such as the rear twin exhaust pipes and all-wheel drive technology. The auto designer has given this new SUV new refreshments and facelifts that will trigger the minds of potential customers.

Rumor information indicates that it will share some of its features with the Opel Mokka. The headlights are probably going to adopt LED daytime running lights while the front bumper is expected to feature a splitter that will aid in noise reduction especially during high speed. It has been estimated that it will be capable of pumping an output of 167 horse power at and 230 Nm of torque. The third engine could be a 3 liter V-6 engine with power output of 258 horsepower at 288 pounds of torque.

The 2016 Chevrolet Captiva will likely be released in the last quarter of next year. That is, during the autumn of 2016. It is still hard to speculate its price but estimating from the current model, it could go for around $22.000 for the base model.
